A New Orleans transplant, Dr. Christopher Frigo attended Jesuit High School before earning football scholarships to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Louisiana State University. He played offensive guard on the MGCCC 1984 National Championship football team under Coach George Sekul, and at LSU, on the 1986 Southeastern Conference Championship team under Coach Bill Arnsparger.

Dr. Frigo graduated with honors from LSU School of Dentistry in 1992 and immediately entered the United States Air Force where he completed an Advanced General Dentistry Residency at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, La. After serving two years at Columbus AFB, Dr. Frigo entered private practice in DeRidder, La where he practiced general dentistry for two years before returning to LSU School of Dentistry to specialize in the field of Orthodontics. Dr Frigo completed his residency with honors receiving the prestigious Bordelon Award for Outstanding Achievement in Orthodontics.

While practicing orthodontics is Dr. Frigo’s passion, the love of his life is the time he spends with his wife and family. He is married to his college sweetheart, the former Kerri Breland of Bay Saint Louis. They have four children: Sarah, Lindy, Christopher, and Craig.

In addition to coaching local football teams, Dr. Frigo practices orthodontics in Gulfport and Bay Saint Louis in his spare time, preferably while listening to Jimmy Buffet! He is the current president of the Mississippi Association of Orthodontists and an active member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS. His interests include fishing, skiing, weightlifting, and playing basketball, baseball, and football with the kids. And spending a little quiet time with his wife!
